Our Story

The line of Washdown Stainless Steel Scales is introduced, including both receiving scales and floor scales.

At the beginning of 2009, we began developing the idea of starting a new company that would bring together the most extensive range of weighing equipment—from the simplest domestic and personal-use scale to WiFi-enabled, labeling, or high-capacity equipment for use in commerce or general industry.

On June 17, 2009, Básculas y Accesorios de Peso S.A. de C.V. was founded, better known as: Metrology Scales.

2009

2010

We added Price-Computing Scales and Crane Hanging Scales to our catalog.

Labeling Scales made their debut.

2011

We introduced the Price-Computing Scale with a serial port, the only one of its kind in Mexico under our import model.

2012

We entered the manufacturing sector, starting with Receiving Scales. The pioneering models were BPR and BPX, followed by BPDUO and BPPR. This marked our evolution from being solely an importer to becoming both a MANUFACTURER and importer.

2014

We installed our first Truck Scale, a major milestone that marked our entry into the high-capacity industrial market.

2015

We increased our production capacity by integrating new machinery such as tube and profile benders, die cutters, presses, guillotines, among others.

We began manufacturing Receiving Scales, Floor Scales, Livestock Scales, Truck Scales, as well as countless custom projects for the general industry.

2016

We cover the chain market with our Labeling Scales, thanks to their connectivity and ease of integration with various systems (software) and points of sale. Some of our current users include major chains such as Abarrey, Súper Willis, Súper San Francisco, Keken, Súper Bara, Carnes San Juan, Empacadora Selecta, and Carnes Ortiz, among others.

We established ourselves as a manufacturer of Electronic Scales and a developer of Weighing and Weight Control Application Software.
